The community of Mamera is part of Antímano in the Municipality or Libertador, west of Caracas. Based on several meetings and community activities with the NGO Caracas Mi Convive, which is currently coordinating one of the children soup kitchens Alimenta la Solidaridad in this sector, the opportunity to build a public space for meetings and a play area for children was identified.

Together with Enlace Foundation, a space with a southern view was selected, previously used to park vehicles. The neighbors agreed to allocate it for a common use and so began the design process together with the community. The design contemplats a didactic garden of local plants and several benches specifically placed as chairs in groups of 2 and 3 for people to sit and talk. With a modest budget and thanks to the participation of neighbors and businesses that contributed species to plant, the project was built. During the construction process, four planting session were carried out together with the children of the soup kitchen.
